Monitoring device for the verification of mating disruption technique’s efficacy on food moths (Plodia interpunctella and Ephestia kuehniella) by observing the pests’ oviposition and the interruption of their reproductive cycle. It’s composed of:
– plastic container
– rearing substrate for food moths

Replace every two weeks.

How to use
Place BIOTEST MD2 in areas where the mating disruption technique is in place, by placing them in protected spaces, at a height of 0 to 180 cm.
Containers must be:
– used open,
– numbered,
– marked with date of placement,
– marked with the identification of the establishment,
– indicated in the floor plans for their placement in the area of the application of the mating disruption technique.
