Adhesive monitoring device, ready to use, to detect and monitor the presence of Necrobia rufipes. RUFY TRAP is pre-baited with a protein based attractant in paraffine pod and attractant substances in a silicone dispenser. RUFY TRAP is protected from dust and water by a cardboard box, with 4 openings and a clear view on top for immediate inspection.
Frequency of controls
Weekly. Change the trap after two months (at the latest) or before if necessary.
How to use
Place RUFY TRAP in industries, museums, storages, retail and distribution centers, where there is the presence of: pet food, bones, hides, copra, dried egg, cheese, bone meal, dried figs, palm nut kernels, dried and salted fish. Place the trap on the floor, along the walls. The 4 openings on the sides will allowed the entry of Necrobia rufipes and the diffusion of the attractants out of the trap. The attractant dispensers, lying on the glue area, will lure these insects to the trap, where they will be stuck.
Place every 3 meters, according to the level of infestation.
