Device for measuring the ultraviolet emission of U.V. tubes, for use inside lamps intended for monitoring flying insects. The meter features a 10 point coloured LED bar and utilises only two function buttons. UV-A METER can measure and store ambient UV light levels from the area of measurement to accurately calculate the actual levels emitted by the tubes. It is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries and has a low battery indicator system, combined with and automatic power-down system to save battery life (is is not used for 30 seconds).

How to use
UV-A METER can be used for two different functions:
1. to measure the condition of the UVA output of the lamps fitted in a UV fly killer to determine if replacement is required
2. to measure the ambient UVA lights levels for optimal siting of the fly killers
Use only with ROHS compliant tubes, whose ultraviolet light emission is 368 nm
